ViVO Smart Medical Devices licenses the Pocket Flow© technology from NHS Health Enterprise East 28^th May 2010 Pressurised metered dose inhalers (pMDI) are widely used for the long-term management of asthma however there are a number of problems associated with their use. The amount of drug delivered to the lower airway when using pMDIs can be limited by the size of the particles produced and problems with lack of co-ordination between actuation and dose inhalation resulting in excessive deposition of the drug on the walls of the oropharynx.
